CAI Class II '08 Internet Marketing Trends

Satellite ProLink participated in a panel discussion on Internet Marketing Trends 2008, along with (pictured facing the class, from left to right):
William Lilly, Jr., http://www.ironhorseauction.com/;
Julie Carter, http://www.spl1.com/;
Kurt Aumann, http://www.aumannauctions.com/; and
Daniel H. McQuiston, Ph.D., Class II Instructor, Marketing Area Coordinator, College of Business Administration, Butler University, http://www.butler.edu/.

Attendees cited numerous examples of the public purchasing items, including real estate, at auction on the web. It was noted that as people become more comfortable researching and purchasing on the web, it is vital to communicate using the same methods. These trends are changing the use of traditional media, such as newsprint, on to more efficient avenues such as targeted email blasts, web ads, SEM, and SEO.
